At Idöborg, you will find nature that is unique to Stockholm's outer archipelago.
You can easily reach Idöborg by Waxholmsbåt ferry, taxi boat, or, if you are feeling adventurous, by RIB boat through our partner Öppet Hav.
If you want to maximize your nature experience, we offer a hiking conference on nearby Nämdö in collaboration with Syresatta Möten. Read more
Activities
Welcome to the Nämdö Archipelago
For those who want to spend time in nature and travel on and across the water, there is – literally – a sea of possibilities.
From challenging pentathlons to educational quiz walks, relaxing kayaking trips, calming yoga sessions, and guided tours to nearby islands. We particularly recommend Bullerö, with its unique archipelago nature at the far end of the sea and colorful history linked to Idöborg.
The conference package includes an activity such as:
Yoga
Mindfulness
Cooking
Kayaking
Team building e.g., competition in building a fire
We offer groups a variety of classes with our local instructors.
The nature reserves outside Idöborg mean that there are hundreds of uninhabited islands around Bullerö, Långskär, and Ormskär to visit.
The waters off Idöborg feature shallow, winding waterways that offer a little adventure in a kayak.

A day filled with meetings and activities is best ended with
The concept: Oxygenated meetings
in a unique archipelago environment
Combine hiking and beautiful nature experiences with professional and enjoyable conference content.
The day is shaped around the purpose and goals of your conference – and then topped off with fantastic nature and wonderful culinary experiences here with us at Idöborg.
When you are planning a conference, a meeting, or a wonderful day for your employees or management team, we offer a unique arrangement.
The concept is based on research into the interaction between the brain and the body, and involves weaving your conference theme together with hiking, neuroleadership, and experience-based exercises—resulting in increased presence, energy, and engagement.
The hiking conference begins and ends here with us at Idöborg. Parts of the conference take place on the Stockholm Archipelago Trail, which is just a stone's throw away from us on nearby Nämdö. Boat transport is included (5 min).
Of course, we also make sure you get good food and snacks during the day. The experienced consultants at Syresatta Möten, Nina Lindblom and Mona Cewenhielm, create the content in close collaboration with you. Part of the conference can also be held indoors if needed or if the weather is against us.
All oxygenated meetings include elements of nature, hiking, and relationship building. This is woven together with your purpose for the conference, e.g., business planning, group development, leadership development, communication, sustainability focus, ideas and vision, change work, etc.
Build your team, work on strategy and business development in motion. If you are planning a kickoff, we will of course tailor a program that is suitable for this specific event.
With Nina's (CV) and Mona's (CV) combined experience and expertise, we can offer professional content in most areas that you, as a group and business leader, may encounter.
They have extensive experience from both the public and private sectors, and from many industries. Group sizes are often 8-36 people, but we can also arrange for larger groups. A walking conference is best suited to a full day.

Our kayaks and SUPs are located in Norrviken. From here, you can take a trip on your own or with a guide in the waters around the island.
We are located on the edge of the outer archipelago, but the area around Långskär and Böteskobben offers shallow, sheltered waters that are suitable even for beginners.
We have both single and double kayaks. All prices include equipment, life jacket, cockpit cover, map, and a brief briefing before the trip.
If you are inexperienced, our instructor will help you with an introduction before you set off, and if you wish, it is also possible to hire an instructor who is also knowledgeable about the history of Idöborg and the neighboring islands.

Start your day with gentle and invigorating yoga in Dojon.
Instructor Clare Lindstrand, from the neighboring island of Orrön, offers gentle yoga suitable for all ages and levels.
You practice yoga barefoot in soft, comfortable clothing.
Avoid eating a large meal at least two hours beforehand.
Inform Clare if you have any injuries or health problems. Do not put unnecessary strain on a physical injury. Listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
When performing a yoga exercise, you may feel an inner resistance. In that case, strive to complete the exercise anyway.
Study your thoughts, feelings, and resistance. The same thoughts and feelings that prevent you from persevering in yoga also prevent you from developing in other areas of life. If you practice perseverance through yoga, all of life's challenges will feel easier.

We take a taxi boat across Bulleröfjärden to Bullerö, the last island before the open sea.
For many years, Bullerö was a gathering place for the artistic elite and other prominent figures of the time. Painters Bruno Liljefors and Anders Zorn, as well as author Albert Engström, worked and socialized here.
From 1923 to 1967, Bullerö was owned by Torsten Kreuger and has since been part of the Bullerö Nature Reserve.
We walk around the beautiful island and learn more about its history. We also visit Bruno Liljefors' hunting lodge, where the Swedish artistic elite dined and partied in the early 1900s.
The excursion can be combined with coffee and snacks that we bring with us from Idöborg.
