Matilda's music navigates between vulnerability and restoration, between friction and flow. She creates for the sake of storytelling and is passionate about the place of lyrics in music. The landscape consists of windy forests and joyful waves, an exploration and expansion of boundaries.

Matilda is a singer, improviser, and songwriter born in Stockholm in 1996, who in recent years has made a name for herself on Sweden's jazz scene. Inspired by Joni Mitchell, Wildbirds and Peacedrums, and Billie Holiday, she has found her own unique sound. In recent years, Matilda has appeared on various stages in Stockholm, Skåne, and Gothenburg, including Fasching, Innergården jazz club during the Stockholm Jazz Festival, and Oceanen.

The band will perform Matilda's songs and their own interpretations of gems from the American songbook.
