Who am I out in the world? What does my unguarded heart yearn for? Who am I when everything is stripped away? How does my body want to move when I am alone? What would I do if nothing was required of me? “Feeling is our birthright. It is our innate wisdom, and through reconnecting with it, we can re-wild ourselves back to our original nature: the place we started from, before layers of doing, pushing, and obligation clouded over who we are.” (Michaela Boehm, 2021)
Together, we explore different ways to achieve embodiment, i.e., to reconnect with our body and mind through yoga classes where yang and gentle, recognizable movements transition into yin-restorative moments of rest, and through moments of free movement and different types of guided meditations such as somatic meditation, shaking meditation, walking meditation, and mindfulness meditation.
In connection with our daily practice, we gather and, if we wish, share the thoughts and impressions generated by the practice through written exercises and reflections, which offer yet another way to begin exploring our own deep potential.
All you need to do is come as you are with your notebook, a pen, and a willingness to spend three days listening inwardly instead of letting yourself be carried away by what is going on around you, as is usually the case in everyday life.
This weekend retreat is for those who want to welcome spring with renewed strength by focusing on themselves for a weekend in a relaxed environment and exploring their own potential.
Livia combines her research background in natural sciences with many years of teaching experience and studies in yoga and other somatic practices, as well as stress management and trauma-adapted yoga.
