Dani Massaad

Dani Massaad has a rich musical background and has distinguished himself as a singer, pianist, and songwriter in several different genres. His music is characterized by grand arrangements, rich harmonies, silky falsetto vocals, and powerful roars. On stage, he is charismatic and lively; the entertainment factor is enormous.

Influenced by iconic artists such as Queen, The Beatles, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, and Stevie Wonder, as well as musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair, his music is deeply rooted in the glory days of the 60s and 70s, but with a modern twist. He is currently in the middle of recording his debut album, Ballroom Wasteland, which will be a concept album exploring topics such as mental and physical escape, ADHD, otherness, love, change of environment, family, and heritage, all from the perspective of his alter ego, Damien Hellwig.

Dani has also collaborated and worked with artists and projects such as Kvasar, Xenia Kriisin, Bohuslän Big Band, Hindarfjäll, and Dani Massaad Quintet.
