Sabina Ddumba’s music radiates a warmth that’s perfect for a summer evening in the archipelago. At Idöborg, the gospel-influenced soul singer takes the stage where the sea, the evening light, and the music come together. Start the evening in a relaxed atmosphere with a barbecue buffet at Strandbaren , and then head over to Ögonblicket as the sun begins to set on the horizon.
Ögonblicket , 2025 Concert
Sabina Ddumba has one of the most recognizable voices in Swedish music today. Having grown up in the Tensta Gospel Choir, she brings some of the warmth and authenticity of gospel music into the melodic soul-pop that has made her one of Sweden’s most beloved artists.
Her breakthrough came with her debut single “Scarred for Life” in 2014, closely followed by hits like “Not Too Young” and “Effortless.” In 2015, she won a Grammis for New Artist of the Year, and the following year, her debut album “Homeward Bound” was released. But it was perhaps on the 2017 season of “Så mycket bättre” that all of Sweden truly understood what Sabina Ddumba is all about—her rendition of Uno Svenningsson’s “Vågorna” was one of the show’s most talked-about moments.
Since then, she has continued to grow as an artist with the album “The Forgotten Ones” (2021) and the EP “Dear 27” (2022). An evening with Sabina Ddumba at “ Ögonblicket,” with the sunset and the archipelago as a backdrop, promises to be just as memorable.
The evening begins at Strandbaren, where you’ll be welcomed with canapés and a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival before the evening’s generous barbecue buffet begins. Here, a delicious start to the experience awaits, featuring Skagen canapés, Asian tuna tartare, mozzarella and tomato skewers with balsamic vinegar, and bacon-wrapped dates.
This is followed by a summery barbecue buffet featuring skewers of sirloin and chorizo, roasted chicken drumsticks, pan-seared swordfish, grilled corn on the cob, and roasted potatoes, served with salads, vegetables, sauces, and side dishes.
Dinner concludes with dessert and coffee, featuring raspberry cheesecake and Tosca cake with whipped cream and toasted white chocolate—a sweet ending before the concert at the “ Ögonblicket.” Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request from the staff.
After dinner, the evening continues at Ögonblicket, Idöborg’s new large event venue for weddings, parties, and larger events. The venue features a large wooden deck overlooking the sea and the sunset, making it an exceptionally atmospheric setting for a summer concert. When Sabina Ddumba takes the stage, the audience is treated to an experience where the music intertwines with the evening light, the archipelago, and the feeling of being on an island in the middle of the Stockholm archipelago.

Getting here
When making your reservation, you can choose the boat taxi via Idöborg, departing from Stavsnäs Vinterhamn at 5:15 p.m. and returning from Idöborg at 10:20 p.m. You can find more information about the Stavsnäs boat taxi here
