Uno Svenningsson is one of those names in Swedish music that truly leaves a lasting impression. With a career spanning more than 40 years—as a solo artist since 1994 and as the frontman of Freda’—he has built up a catalog of songs that most Swedes hold dear.
“Vågorna,” “Under Ytan,” “Tro på varann,” “I en annan del av världen”—the songs are numerous and memorable. In 2017, he reached an even wider audience through the TV4 show *Så mycket bättre*, and in the summer of 2023, he performed at Ullevi as a guest of Gyllene Tider. In 2024, he celebrated 40 years as an artist with an anniversary tour that spanned the entire year.
An evening with Uno Svenningsson at the “ Ögonblicket,” with the archipelago as a backdrop and the sun sinking toward the horizon, promises to be every bit as grand as his music deserves.

The evening begins at Strandbaren, where you’ll be welcomed with canapés and a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival before the evening’s generous barbecue buffet begins. Here, a delicious start to the experience awaits, featuring Skagen canapés, Asian tuna tartare, mozzarella and tomato skewers with balsamic vinegar, and bacon-wrapped dates.
This is followed by a summery barbecue buffet featuring skewers of sirloin and chorizo, roasted chicken drumsticks, pan-seared swordfish, grilled corn on the cob, and roasted potatoes, served with salads, vegetables, sauces, and side dishes.
Dinner concludes with dessert and coffee, featuring raspberry cheesecake and Tosca cake with whipped cream and toasted white chocolate—a sweet ending before the concert at the “ Ögonblicket.” Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request from the staff.
After dinner, the evening continues at Ögonblicket, Idöborg’s new, large event venue for weddings, parties, and larger gatherings. The venue features a large wooden deck overlooking the sea and the sunset, making it an exceptionally atmospheric setting for a summer concert. When Uno Svenningsson takes the stage, the audience is treated to an experience where the music blends with the evening light, the archipelago, and the feeling of being on an island in the middle of the Stockholm archipelago.

Getting here
When making your reservation, you can choose the boat taxi via Idöborg, departing from Stavsnäs Vinterhamn at 5:15 p.m. and returning from Idöborg at 10:20 p.m. You can find more information about the Stavsnäs boat taxi here
